| Drain washers and remover refrigerator and freezer doors to reduce mildew. | ||
| Disassemble furniture to conserve space. Keep the hardware in a plastic bag taped to the piece. | ||

| Store mirrors, pictures and glass items wrapped and on edge or in special boxes. | ||
| Cover mattresses and upholstered furniture to prevent dust build-up. | ||
| Shrink wrap and paper pads are very useful and keep your items clean and scratch free. | ||
| Packing Tips |

| Use high quality clean stackable packing boxes designed especially for our trucks. You can order packing supplies and boxes from this site or buy them at our facility. | ||
| Pack books and other heavy objects in smaller boxes for easier lifting. | ||
| If you need to store clothes, use wardrobe boxes so you can hang your garments. | ||
| Use the same size boxes for easy stacking. | ||
| Fill boxes completely, stuffing open areas with packing paper to prevent collapsing when stacked. | ||
| Seal boxes completely with packing tape to keep out dust. | ||
| Protect mattresses and furniture with pads and covers. | ||
| Wrap mirrors, pictures and lamps with paper pads, or use mirror and lamp boxes. Never store these items flat. | ||
| Label all boxes on several sides for easy locating. Also, indicate if the contents are fragile. | ||
| Disassemble tables and shelves and store on their sides. Wrap and mark all pieces for easier re-assembly. | ||
